Ms Laurence Mortier
Skills/Experience
Ms Mortier graduated in International Relations at the Graduate Institute of International Studies (Geneva) in 2006 and has then specialised in sustainable development and energy issues. After various work experiences in international cooperation in Peru, and foreign affairs in Norway and Canada, she works since 2007 as a Scientific Collaborator at the Swiss Network for International Studies (Geneva) (previously Geneva International Academic Network), for the promotion and support of interdisciplinary research projects carried out by Swiss academic institutions in collaboration with international organisations. Ms Mortier works at GRCF since 2010 as a part-time Research Associate, contributing with her knowledge on energy security issues and cooperative arrangements.
Role in the Project
Ms Mortier’s main contribution to the project relates to the analysis of current and future trends and challenges regarding access to natural resources and the strategies of key players (WP 3 and 4), as well as the identification of possible policy solutions and future strategies (WP 5).
