Dr Locatelli researches the reform of the Russian hydrocarbon industries (the issue of privatisation, deregulation and price reforms, access to the Russian hydrocarbon resources). She analyses the strategies of the Russian actors towards the international oil and gas markets. In particular she is studying the Gazprom's and the European gas market liberalisation and the consequence for the European gas security (SECURE, DG Research). She also participates in negotiations between EU and Russia concerning the Energy Partnership.
Role in the Project
Research conducted by S. Rossiaud and C. Locatelli aims to produce a framework for analysing the relationship between producer states and IOCS and NOCS.. This framework focus on an economic approach of oil and gas contracts. It allows to define the strategies of the different actors. S. Rossiaud and C. Locatelli develop an analysis of the Russian oil and gas model and the implication of the Russian hydrocarbon policy on the European gas security (SECURE, DG Research). They also participate to the negotiations between EU and Russia concerning the Energy Partnership.
