Skills/Experience

Maren is a geologist specialising in mineral raw materials. Since joining the BGR in 2007, she has carried out scientific work on various projects for the sub-department of Economic Geology of Mineral Resources. Between 2008 to 2010 she was involved in a project for a German car manufacturer, in which the supply risks of mineral resources were assessed. Prior to this she worked for the regional Geological Survey of Baden Württemberg in the field of regional non-metallic minerals.
